What We Do
CCOMC vision statement: “Christ’s Church seeks to be a grace-giving community of believers who love God (“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…” (Matthew 22:37), love God’s people (“By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35) and loves the world as God loves the world. (“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)”
CCOMC mission statement: Connecting people to Jesus and one another. “We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).
CCOMC philosophy of ministry: Servanthood. God has called us to serve as ministers. Therefore we encourage all members at Christ’s Church to see themselves as fulltime ministers. Servanthood is at the core of how we minister. We seek to be people who gladly serve one another, rather than seeking to be served. “And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:44-45).
