What We Do

Changing History:     The secret to living a life of purpose is living for something bigger than yourself. We're not on this earth to mark time, but to make a difference. To live a life of purpose is to live a life that goes beyond yourself.  As Christians, it is our duty to live beyond ourselves and to pour ourselves into the lives of others.  Every time a person is saved, we're changing history... the course of their lives and the blessing upon their future. Take a moment to prayerfully imagine little children coming to an awareness of God's incredible love for them through Children’s ministry. Prayerfully imagine what can happen when boys and girls are influenced for the future. Prayerfully imagine what God can do in the hearts of students who will grow in their understanding of God's purpose for their lives through Student Ministries. Prayerfully imagine a generation of world changers who are passionate about God and are enthusiastically committed to carrying His Word to their generation. Imagine the possibilities... there is no question we can change history!

We're not on this earth to mark time, but to make a difference.

To live a life of purpose is to live a life that goes beyond yourself.

Every time a person is saved, we're Changing History...

CCOMC vision statement: “Christ’s Church seeks to be a grace-giving community of believers who love God ("Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind..." (Matthew 22:37), love God’s people ("By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35) and loves the world as God loves the world. ("For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)”

CCOMC mission statement: Connecting people to Jesus and one another. We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ” (Colossians 1:28).

CCOMC philosophy of ministry: Servanthood. God has called us to serve as ministers. Therefore we encourage all members at Christ’s Church to see themselves as fulltime ministers. Servanthood is at the core of how we minister. We seek to be people who gladly serve one another, rather than seeking to be served. “And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:44-45).
