Proper stewardship of money is a central teaching of the Christian Church (2 Corinthians 9) and the finance ministry has the vital task of accounting for and distributing the funds which Christians contribute to Christ’s Church. This group assures that all funds are properly paid. The ministry proposes an annual budget for review and approval by the Leadership Team and then monitors receipts and expenditures to verify that the church is operating on a sound financial basis. The ministry also prepares and submits periodic reports to the congregation.
