Benevolence Ministry

Christ’s Church financially supports Interfaith Emergency Services in an effort to help those in need. Most benevolence requests are directed to Interfaith. However from time to time individuals make requests that require special consideration. This is when the Benevolence Committee meets to determine if Christ’s Church can meet the need presented. Help may take the form of a one-time financial gift or a bag of groceries. A small pantry is maintained in order to provide immediate assistance with food. Because of the confidential nature of benevolence, volunteers are simply asked to provide food, funds, perhaps transportation when needed, and lots of prayers.
